All TV teaches something. Therefore, it is important to ask: “What do you want your child to learn?” PBS programs are designed to teach social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Ready To Learn’s “View, Do, Read!” workshop introduces the Learning Triangle. This teaching model combines selective television viewing with activities that stimulate creative learning and reading age-appropriate books.
